In 2018, we installed a 50,000 Litre per day solar water heating system at Avanti Leathers, followed by a 540 sq.m solar air heating system and a 30,000 Litre per day solar water heating system at Prara Leathers, Ranipet. These three systems resulted in significant electricity and steam consumption savings, reducing our overall energy costs. Sunbest's Solar Air Drying and water heating system exceeded our expectations, proving to be a reliable and efficient energy source.
We are proud to state that since September 2023, we have completely switched off our 4-tonne and 2-tonne firewood boilers, making our Ranipet unit a Green Energy unit.
